I love Cookie Bouquet (or Cookies by Design is their name now). I think they are the cutest and taste the best!

I was looking for decorated sugar cookies for my son's 1st birthday and called lots of places. The most affordable and smallest minimum order was Central Market. They were able to get it done with just 4-5 days in advance (and it was Easter weekend!). I didn't even go in- just ordered it over the phone and it turned out great. I was very happy with it. And it was actually pretty good too!

Magnolia Cafe is less expensive ($1.75 each) than Celebrity ($2.50 each) and just as detailed.

The best ever in the world are from Willie Mae's in Plano.

There is a great bakery in Deep Ellum. Cant think of their name off hand, but they are on Elm, about 3 blocks from the gypsy tea room, you might be able to google bakeries in that area

You may want to try La Rosette in Richardson. I do the cake designing there, but we have a girl who decorates/bakes the best sugar cookies at $2.50 each. I am sure the others will be more expensive. Tell them S. sent you!
