Daycare for My 17Mo

I have a 3 year old and a 17 month old that attend Campfire USA's Child Development Center near the corner of 820 and 35 off of Polaris. I live in Keller and work downtown and it is a GREAT location.

I shopped around and interviewed about 20 daycare facilities near our house and picked Campfire. They are nationally accredited for age appropriate academics, have viewing rooms for the parents, the building is safe, clean, and well maintained (actually just replaced all carpet, painted and have new Pier 1 Kids furniture). Their doors are secured with electronic keypads, and can be opened only with a passcode, the teachers are never (or very rarely) alone with the children and I can honestly say that I would trust any one of them to personally care for my children unattended any time... we LOVE them! All of the teaches are fantastic!!

Their lesson plans are FULL of great artistic, educational and fun activities, if you are interested in knowing what they do, you can visit my "Room Mom" website at www.roommama.com and look at the Room 2 stuff (where your little girl would be), it isn't updated this week due to my busy week at work... but you can see last week on the room pages. Please just let Hugh, the center director, know that I sent you. Hugh is a great guy who genuinely cares for the children with a passion!

There is a Bright Horizons (of Fossil Creek) which is right at 35 and 820. I have heard they have a great facility.

I second Bright Horizons. It's right off 820 & 35. Awesome facility!!! My DD went there for almost 2 years and we just loved it. By the time we moved her (for full-time Kindergarten next year) she was testing at her new school at almost the first grade level!! The teachers are very loving, it's very organized, the center itself is gorgeous and the Director is extremely on-top of her staff. It's a little on the pricier side for most average facilities, but it's above average in the area and I'm taking baby #2 back there when it's time. I am looking to watch one child at my home for extra money. I have a 4 yr old little girl and she is here some of the day. She goes to pre-k from 12:15-3:15. I live in Sagianw right now (I did live right by your work.. but Im not too far now either).
We do tons of learning things here and crafts all day. My daughter is obsessed with crafts and learing things so we dont just sit and watch tv all day long.
I am a stay at home mom and my hubby works at the post office and I just want something were I can make a little extra money while staying at home..esp next yr when she is in school all day.
