I'm a hockey mom and on Halloween, we're going to a hockey game. Since my son plays, I'm sure he'll dress up as a hockey player. I think I'll dress up my daughter as a hockey cheerleader. DH will be busy driving the zamboni during the game, however he will also be in costume. Now that leaves me. I was thinking of something hockey related, but, I just don't know what. I'd like something more than dressing up as a hockey player myself. I thought something more creative...but with a hockey theme.

Love those ideas, I was going to also suggest the referee idea. I saw a sexy type female referee dress with knee high socks. It was really cute.
You can't use this idea cause it's rude, but I was thinking of dressing as a puck with a "U" on it... Puck u ... I know, bad, but it's late ;)
Be a hockey mom. Just over the top with the stereotype. Head to to team logo clothes and colors. Team tatoo on your face. Team earrings, team hair clips/bows etc. Then write on your back or iron on - Hockey Mom.
Something related to the big NHL hockey lockout? Maybe a hockey player with a big padlock across the front?

I can't help but think since hubby drives the zamboni, you should be a zomboni, however, you will never fit in the stands and maybe not in the front door.
The ref. Whistle, striped shirt. If you wanted to get gory you could add an axe to the head.

Mrs. NHL. Black out a tooth, wear a dressy outfit (leftover bridesmaid outfit) and get a wide ribbon with sticky letters to spell out Mrs. NHL to wear across your torso.
