I was wondering if anyone new a good program to buy to be able to make graphics? My brother passed away a yr ago, an i made him a memory site on memory of.com,an would love to be able to make my own graphics to add to his site from scratch instead of having to ask someone else to do it. there are so many out there, an i don't want to buy one an it be a waste of money.

Adobe Photoshop is a good program to do graphics. Go onto www.adobe.com and find out how much it is.
Sorry about the loss of your brother. Not sure I understand what you are asking: If you already "made him a memory site" what did you use to create that? I know that Adobe Dreamweaver is good--it's about 400 bucks. Dreamweaver is a program to create websites though, not computer just graphics. Probably not what you're after--sorry.
Adobe Photoshop Elements is your best bet. It is a simpler version of Adobe Photoshop. You can download a free 30-day trial on www.adobe.com.

I am sorry for your loss. My brother also passed away (back in 2004) and I have been thinking of putting up a memorial site, but haven't yet. I may do so some time before his anniversary in December.
I am not sure what type of graphics you are looking to create, but there are many FREE programs you can use. Two I can think of are The GIMP and DAZ Studio. Go to Download.com and look through the graphics section. They are my number 1 authority when I am looking for software (both free and paid). I am 110% sure you will find something there.

We use arcsoft photo sudio for alot of our graphics. You can also download this program free on download.com.
