Hi Moms,

I want to know wears coach sneakers and if they are comfortable for all day wear. I am in my second trimester and my feet can't take summer shoes or other shoes. These sneakers will work well with work as well as casual wear.

Thanks

This may or may not help you out because I think that you are looking for a dressier shoe to be able to wear to work. Nonetheless, I LOVE my new balance mules. My son was born in August last year and it was so nice not to have to tie shoes in my last trimester and I could walk all around the city in these shoes.

They always have them for around $50 at the Nordstrom women/children sale, which just happens to start today. :-)

Good luck.

A.

You need shoes that will breathe and expand. New Balance shoes are ideal for both and a great exercise shoe and can make them casual wear, but you do want to keep separate shoes for casual and exercise. Your exercise shoe will last longer and provide a different support than a casual shoe. And you definitely want the support and will spend less.

Hope that helps!

I'm not a shoe person, so there is no shoe that I love. However, many years ago, I discovered "Clarks" and have a few pairs (Sandals, boots, and slip-ons) They are the most comfortable shoes ever invented. They have a store at Woodfield, and also there is an outlet at the premium shops in Aurora. They can cost in the range of $40 at the outlet and $60-$70 at the mall.

I recommend you try them out. Once you do you'll be buying a few pairs from them.

Coach sneakers have absolutely zero arch/foot support. You may be better off going to Dick's Sporting Goods or Lady Foot Locker and trying to find a pair of 'fashion' sneakers that also have the benefit of cushioning, comfort, and support.

*edited to add: Mom LK mentioned Keen shoes - FABULOUS choice!

I saw a pair on clearance at a Dept store a few weeks ago and tried them on. They were NOT comfortable at all to me. I ended-up buying a pair of Nikes.

I know you said that your feet can't take summer shoes, but I find Keen sandals one of the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn. They have the fit and comfort of an athletic shoe and I can walk for miles in them. I prefer them over sneakers during the summer time.

i have coach sneakers and wore them all they way up until the last few weeks of my pregnancy (because my feet swelled so bad that the only thing i could wear was flip-flops). i think they are incredibly comfortable and cushioned inside.
