Morning Momma's! I am trying very hard to get in the Christmas spirit. Seems like everyone is having a hard time this year. For my kid's sake I am doing the best I can. I put up a small tree on top of a end table.
I love crafts and always do something around Christmas time with my daughter. I made Snowmen out of baby socks last night. Take a peek at my profile picture to see them. They are adorable and super easy. I love to make sock animals. I got a book last year and went a little wild with it. I made so many I was giving them to the church to give to the day care babies! I haven't done too many lately and making these snowmen last night made me feel so much better.
So what have you done this year to get yourself IN THE SPIRIT? I am giving these to the church also. They have alot of kids that need Christmas presents. I was only able to adopt one child this year compared to 3 or 4 previous years. I wish I could afford to do more but just can't swing it. So I am bringing my cute snowmen hoping they bring a smile to a child!
Blessings!!
D.

I am in a community singers group and we sing for various holiday partys and many nursing homes and retirement communities year round, but the holidays seem to be more appreciated than the rest of the year!

I made bird seed ornaments one week with my toddlers, and applesauce cinnamon ornaments with them the next. We give them to our neighbors and hang the birdseed ones outside.

Playing Christmas music is always my source of Christmas joy. Today I will do my Christmas baking. I want to give cookie trays earlier than everyone else so the teachers/staff at my husband's school aren't tired of sweets yet. I also love driving around looking at Christmas light displays. Last year I googled "Christmas light displays" in our area and found out that people now put their Christmas light displays to music. There is a sign in the front yard that tells you what radio station to turn to. We love it.

Be sure to ask your daughter what she'd like to do. Does she like to bake? Make some fun memories.

P.S. I love your snowmen!
