It is almost here...Christmas is upon us! I have tried decorating to try to get into the holiday spirit but not working...any suggestions?

Hi i work on the Christmas Decorations at the Patterson bank and if you'll dress him up and take him to the bank and take pictures of him maybe that will help. my first year with my son he was 4 mon old and the older they get the more like christmas it feels hes just a baby thats all. It WILL get better God bless you H.
It's hard when the weather just doesn't feel like winter, but i always put on christmas music, not the choir music, but music that actually makes you want to dance a little silly! I put on some of my daughter's c.d's, she's 3, so you know you can be silly with that! It helps me to get in the mood!!

yea, and while you're singing all crazy wrap some presents maybe.. that is always fun for me. you can be creative and it passes the time.. bake some cookies so the house smells yummy.. and maybe drive around searching for christmas lights with the kids..
Try to remember the true meaning of CHRISTmas.....Remember how loved we truly are.

I know how you're feeling.....I got all my decorating done last weekend...I made myself just do it...I get so depressed w christmas going broke, It's just a depressing time...It's suppose to be a happy time not a sad time...
I am just feeling so lonely this year I have been w someone the past two years and this is the firsr yr him and I are not with one another, we split in March...
i was sitting in front of my tree the other night, and just got so emotional..
