C-section Scar Tissue Pain?

I have had two C-Sections- 17 and 19 years ago. I know- it's been a long time!!!! But- for the past 6 months I've had pain in the general area of my right ovary. It feels like I might have a cyst there but the tests say otherwise.
I've had a vaginal ultrasound and a CT scan with contrast and each test shows nothing out of the ordinary. My doctor suggested that it could be pain from the C-Section scar tissue- even after all these years. Still not sure that she's right, but wondered if any other moms have had this kind of pain after a C-Section. And if so- how did you treat it?

What can I do next?

I have had 3 c-sections and haven't had any pain. My most recent one was 3 months ago and recently i did have some discomfort after a day of getting in and out of my husbands truck. I have also noticed lately that it is more numb around that area than with the other two c-sections.

i had my 1st csection in july so i'm not far enough in the future from my surgery as you are but i still have pain in mine. ive seen women talk about how 30, 40, 50 years afterwards they still have pain in their scar area. how discouraging!!! i've heard rubbing vitamin e oil on the scar can break up the underlying scar tissue to help with healing & pain. i'm considering giving it a try! my BFF had a breast augmentation done earlier this year & her plastic surgeon recommended this treatment to hear. of course her's was a newer incision, but hey! cant hurt to give it a whirl. :D my next suggestion would be to seek a 2nd opinion, maybe a doctor who's a little more specialized in that field of expertise? best of luck!!!

Get Standard Process( call the company for someone local-800-558-8740), and get their Wheat Germ oil) stick a pin in a capsule and put the oil on the scar- I have seen this do amazing things.

Oh definately, I had a C-Section for my son six years ago and I have the same pain. That area is still so sensitive and the nurse's told me that it hurts for years and years, now one doctor told me I have fibroids and another says no, I mean, this stuff is just messed up. My grandmother was a midwife and her home remedies were passed down from generation to generation, so you can try putting some cooking salt in some warm water, as warm as you can take it and let the steam go there, also take a face towel and soak it in the same water and gently pat the area. That helps me so much. I hope you find it helpful, just take it easy.

I had two c-sections 5 & 7 years ago, and I still have issues with the scar and that same area point as well - I'd always forget to ask if that was the point they started the c-section or the end point. My scar itches sometimes too, especially if anything is resting on it for a long period of time. I just kind of rub it, itch it, rub that area a little. I know this doesn't really help, but I understand what you feel.. and maybe I'll get some clue to it too. Maybe just scar tissue and my clothes hitting on it? Hope you get a clue!!!!!! :P

Have they looked at your appendix at all? Just given the area you're describing, I have to wonder.

I had a C section 13 weeks ago and no longer have pain. But the methods they use now are considerably different from 20 yrs ago, so maybe you're doctor is right.
But I think I'd get a second opinion and look outside of the reproductive system.
