Hi moms. I am looking to buy glasses online and was wondering if any of you have any experience--good or bad--with buying online. I know a lot of the companies will let you add prescription lenses to your glasses. Do you recommend buying glasses with the lenses or just buying the frames online. Any companies your can recommend or ones to stay away from? Thanks for any and all help.

What can I do next?

I get my son's glasses at www.zennioptical.com and have been really happy with them. You give your Rx information and it's very easy.

The glasses VERY inexpensive, but seem to hold up just as well as the expensive frames we got at the eye doctor. Just make sure your prescription includes the PD number (pupil distance). Sometimes doctors don't measure it unless you're ordering glasses, but they will if you ask... so just ask and have them write it down.

We have all purchased from Zenni Optical and ll had good results..

We went to the Optometrist had our eye exams, then gave them a copy of the Zenni form.. Then we went and made copies of the form so that each time we want a new pair, we could easily order them.

Our daughter has ordered 6 pairs!

My husband 3 pairs, And I only 2.. I need a new prescription, but you know moms, we are the last ones.

The friend that introduced us to Zenni has over 10 pairs! Including Sunglasses!

Lots of our friends on FB started ordering.

Remember, you get no service from them..They are imported and it takes a few weeks to get them in the mail. So if you need them tightened or adjusted to your ears, you will need to place the "temple" (the part that goes over your ear.. in hot water to soften it to fit your ear.)

The last pair I purchased at Costco I loved and felt like $150. was a good price. But the pair from Zenni the total was less than $40.. and are so cute!

Is pretty awesome. They send you pairs to try on, free shipping, and free return.

I'm so glad to hear the good feed back about Zenni Optical. My mom hooked me up with the website. Someone she works with uses them and raves about them.

I just got a new prescription and am going through all the different styles right now. There are so many to choose from! I won't do anything without speaking to a person first, but the deals certainly sound amazing.

That's what I'm going to try.
