They did all the windows in our house and we LOVE them! Wonderful to work with and VERY reasonable! We've had them up 3+ years now and haven't had any problems!

I used Budget blinds 5 years ago. We ordered wood blinds and some slats were warped. I called the man back out and he said that happens with real wood...and he wouldn't take it back. Also, the honeycomb shades, my kids tore...sorry I don't remember the brands..but I would say their customer service was poor.

We've used Budget Blinds in Dallas. Jim, the owner, was great! So informative and so helpful. The good thing about him and Budget Blinds I would say is that you can get a variety of options for your home, not just blinds. i.e. we got BEAUTIFUL wood shutters in my husband's study, with cute, custom Texas engraved stars on top (not tacky). ;-) And woven wood shades in our living room that opens out to our deck.
The following summer, we did our girls' room with really pretty roman shades. Each time, Jim was great and provided options for us that worked for OUR windows. i.e. some of our windows weren't deep enough to fit what we thought that we wanted, and Jim was able to provide a variety of alternatives to suit our needs. (I didn't find that with other providers and I shop around, believe me!) ;-)
Am sorry to see that others weren't as happy. But you have to realize that each is owned and operated separately. So be sure to always ask around. Our neighbors worked with Jim, too. Their cat got all up in their blinds and they were fortunate enough to have a no-questions-asked Budget Blinds guarantee on them. They were able to get brand new blinds without a problem.

I've used Outlook Window Fashions & they were reasonably priced. I had my front windows done & they are 2 tiers plus a half moon arch on top that is custom made. I have vertical blinds on the bottom & honeycomb blinds on the 2nd level & half moon. They did a nice job & the blinds are covered for the 1st year if anything should happen to them.

I used them for my whole house. The price was reasonable. They are all individually owned. And the installers are all contracted out as well. I had a few problems with installation and my order. But nothing they didnt correct.

B.,

I haven't used Budget Blinds, but I have ordered online from Select Blinds (www.selectblinds.com). You have to measure and install them, but they were a great deal. I ordered the 2 inch foe wood blinds (they look exactly like the real wood). We actually had our handyman install them, but if you were handy, you could definitely do it yourself. Theyll send you swatches of the different colors (I definitely recommend doing this). When you measure, take measurements from the top, bottom, front, and back of your windows. I am very happy with ours.

I never used Budget Blinds but another good blind place I used was American Blinds,. You can check them out on-line. I purchased four fabric shades for the kitchen area, I was very happy with them. I saved $200.00 from what other places wanted Home Depo wanted $350.00 more than what I paid. Each window was around $75.00. Med. grade quailty. .. But very happy with them.

They are O.k but 3 Day Blinds did our entire house and I love them. No problems at all.
The thing you want to watch out for when shopping for blinds on line is you really never know what you are getting. I sold blinds for 10 years at Home Depot (DO NOT GO THERE) Plus on line may not offer warranty so look out for that. The thing about 3 Day Blinds,if something goes wrong with your blind/shade they usually can fix it in their store.
