We have been looking to buy a Britax car seat but can't afford to pay over $200 for a car seat. I was wondering if any one has a fairly new Britax car seat (neutral or for a boy)that has not been in an accident for sale. If so, please let me know. I am located in Tampa. Thank you.
Thank you to all of gave such great advice. I actually one a brand new car seat on E bay from a seller with awesome reviews. I actually forgot that I had bid on it a couple days and ended up being the high bidder for a low price. Things work in weird ways sometimes :)

I got my Britax marathon on Ebay about 3 months ago. It was brand new and about $175 with shipping! The buyer I used was Baby Surplus (babysurplus). They have 99.6% positive feedback and are a power seller. I didn't get a "cute" fabric or anything, but it was worth what I saved. Let me know if you have any questions...

While Britax is a great seat, you really do not want to purchase one used unless you know the person personally. You never know how that seat was handled or if it was in an accident. It could have stress fractures that can't be seen and could cause the seat to fail in an accident endangering your child.
How old, tall and how much does your child weigh? Is he/she still rearfacing? I may be able to recommend some other seats to you that you can afford.
Have you checked around online? Some of the online sites run pretty decent sales from time to time on Britax seats. I'll have to see if I can remember some of them and will post back.

I have an infant car seat/stroller system... it is not Britax, and is neutral as I didn't know what I was having when I got it. It is used, but also only looking at getting rid of it a a low price. Also have another infant base if you have two cars, that way you aren't having to change the base everytime you change cars

It's M. again. Just to let you know, you can post an ad (for free) on Craig's List; people are always selling car seats and other stuff on there. In the ad line, just make sure to post WANTED to let people know you need it. http://tampa.craigslist.org. Go under For Sale, Baby and Kids, and you can post your ad. I needed an extra car seat for my mom's car and got a nice one for $20, and it looked brand new. Also, I got my Britax Marathon on Froogle.com. It's a website Google has and they list all Britax and all the prices of them, and you can search in a certain price range. Both myself, and my 2 friends got ours $80 cheaper (and with free shipping) because we got the fabrics Britax was discontinuing. Good luck :)
