Has anyone experienced this - My second son is almost 4 months old and breastdfeeding him as caused my nipple to become inverted. Will itevert/go back to normal once I stop bresatfeeding?

That doesn't seem right...usually it's the opposite. I had flat nipples...not really inverted, but flat...and I used a nipple shield during the first four months of nursing to draw them out and now they're normal and will never "revert" as the adhesions have been broken.
I would talk to your doctor or a lactation specialist about this.
Funny, I had inverted nipples, wore a nipple-cup in my bra and was told that nursing would bring them out, which it did. You could get a nipple cup from your ob-gyn or a good bra store and wear them, it worked for me.
I don't want to alarm you, but I seriously think you should have a mammogram sooner rather than later. It might be nothing serious but I really don't think breastfeeding is the cause of your inverted nipple. Please get checked out by a specialist asap and let us know. I'll keep fingers crossed that it's not what I think it is!
I'm not sure--for many women, the nipple inverts primarily when the surrounding tissue is compressed; it may look normal the rest of the time. A friend had an inverted nipple that caused BF problems but she overcame that by using a manual pump for a minute or so before her son latched on. Good luck!
Talk to your doctor about it. I have always had an inverted nipple, although it switched to normal while breastfeeding. It stayed normal even after I stopped a year and a half ago. It seems weird that yours would become inverted while breastfeeding, if it hadn't been before.
I have never heard of nursing CAUSING inverted nipples. Try looking here:

Please go see your doctor. I don't want to alarm you, but my mother was just diagnosed with Stage 4 breast cancer and her nipple inverting was the ONLY sign she had any alarming breast changes that were symptomatic of b.c. Her particular cancer does not show up on a mammogram, but was diagnosed from an MRI. This is really serious, and was very eye-opening as to how vigilant we need to be with changes in our bodies that are unusual.
Any change in your breasts should be evaluated by a doctor.
