HELP me please! These things are taking over my grandmothers house. We have tried washing everything in boiling hot water, took up all the carpet, I even bought "steam" vacuum that sucks at nothing but its job. I tried calling a pest control company, but they won't call me back. I'm not getting any sleep or any saner. I need help!! My neice starts school in less than a week! I'm desperate and my boyfriend is treating me like a lepar.
Tree tea oil mixed with water in a spray bottle and you can spray everything.
I use solumel from Melaleuca.
Try putting a 10-20 drops of pure quality Tea Tree Oil in a spray bottle filled with water. You can spray the bed, carpet etc. It works great on most household creepy crawlers.

I dog sat for a couple while they were in the process of moving. They neglected to tell me that the dogs had fleas. I tried EVERYTHNG even pulling out my carpet..etc. I finally after spending about $800 on store bought products called Orkin. I think it cost about $400, but they can out sprayed EVERTHING, and gave me a guarantee that if I seen anymore, they would come back free of charge and treat my home again. I never seen anymore, but just for good measure, I had them come back the following weekend and spray again. I lookedon their website, and they DO come out for bed bugs!! Hi L., you need to get rid of that intire bed, including the mattress. Then I would use a bug bomb inside that bedroom. When you purchase a bug bomb tell the person what kind of bug bomb you actually need. Try home Depote to find what you're looking for. And if they don't have what you're looking for. Then probably more likely you won't need a bug bomb for this if they don't make one for this kind of problem. I believe it has to do with the intire bed. Need ( new bed and mattress and boxspring and new pillow).
Your problem with the bed bugs will be intirely gone !

If she has any type of insurance, she needs to call them. I work for an insurance company, and this should be covered. All will depend on her policy, but I dealt with several people that had this problem.
Everything, in the house, has to be cleaned and dryed at temps of 120 or more. your washer and dryer, will not keep the temps at that high, so you won't get rid of them, and most floor cleaners, may get the wqater that hot, but you won't be able to get it to dry at that heat.
if you contact your insurance commpany, wether they cover or not, they can suggest people in your area to use. I would start contacting people. not so much pest control people but restoration companies, floor cleaning companies. and even the dry cleaners. they all may be able to help you with the prices, and a payment plan.
I don't know where you live, but you have to get the pest control company involved. It can be expensive, so get one that guarantees their work. The bedbugs will keep breeding and hiding in the tiniest of places, and they can get into the frames of furniture. Stay on top of this!

I luckily haven't had to deal with this type of problem, but have seen it addressed on some of the tv news programs. One of the things they pointed out was that they get deep into the matress. They pulled a matress apart and it was in the padding and everything. The best thing would be to get rid of it and replace the bed frame as well (just to be on the safe side). The other ladies have good suggestions as well.

Hmm, have you tried a Kirby? My cousin had Cystic Fibrosis and his doctor recommended his parents buy a Kirby vacuum because they are supposed to get all the nasty stuff like that ... you should be able to get a fairly "new" one on ebay. Good luck
