Hey Mamas ~

I have a friend who is going to take my kids pictures (5 year and 1 year)this month, but we don't know where to go. Where are some great places photographers have taken you for pictures. I did look at the Arborteum and it looks amazing - so if you have any advice for there. Or is there any great places that you don't have to pay to get into.

Thank you Mom's! You always give the best advice.

Our amazing photographer takes us to Praether Park in Highland Park early in the morning for pictures. There are mossy steps, neat bridges, lots of dappled sunlight and trees. Very cool park. Here's the address: 4660 Drexel Dr
Highland Park, TX 75205

We've done pictures at the Arboretum as well, but keep in mind that professional photographers must pay a fee in addition to admission to get in there. I think if you have a tripod you get charged... My photographer had to pay extra when we went but we did get some gorgeous pictures up around the house and under the arbors there. Lots of great backdrops.

Have fun!

I second Prairie Creek. I took engagement pics of my friends there and they came out great.

You can call me, I love taking pictures of the kids a babysit and have landed some beautiful spots and you dont have to pay. My advice is that anywhere yoy go in the outdoors, you'll have to do it early in the morning for lighting pusposes.... And I don't know that the arboretum opens early enough.
Call me or e-mail me. ###-###-####

Prairie Creek park in Richardson, on Campbell road just west of 75, has a great little waterfall that makes a perfect picture backdrop. (and it's free, too)
