Hi Mamas! Thought that I'd ask all of you my Q since you've been so helpful in the past!
We are living in TX temporarily while my husband is on-site for a job...ordinarily I love to throw elaborate "hand-made" bday parties (I am an artist) often in my home...however, since we are here temp. we live in a home that is "temporary" and not exactly w/a kid-friendly backyard. My son wants a pirate bday party w/a treasure hunt in our backyard...any suggestions for where I can host this? I live in Southlake.
If you want to do a treasure hunt you probably need a yard so not sure if the recreation centers will be adequate, this link might be really helpful to you. Its grapevine but they have several spaces you can look at and its not too far from southlake.

Try a recreation center. They let you rent out gyms and meeting rooms for stuff like this.. I am not sure on locations in Southlake though.

There is a new center in Southlake called the LEGO Education Center. I think they have a pirate themed birthday party that he might like. They are near the Chik-fil-a at Kimball and southlake blvd.
