Need some guidance as we are going on vacation in a few weeks and I have to squeeze into a swimming suit. I've determined that I will probably wear a tankini seeing as having 2 kids has left my tummy a little less than desirable for my taste. Any suggestions as to where i should start my search for the perfect suit?

Order a few from each site, try them and then send back what doesn't work. (Unless you can get to the store of course....but our area doesn't have good stores so order I must!)
You probably want to try it on so hit Kohl's, JC Penny, Sears, etc. I am with you need a new suit myself...ugh. Good luck.
I bought a CUTE Isaac Mizrahi tankini at Target that I loved (two years ago, but it was there last year and I bet it will be there again) it covered tummy, lifted "the girls" and had a nice deeper plunge to still look fashionable.
Seriously, a great place to start especially for a quick vaca turnaround. J.Crew has some awesome one-pieces that I would encourage you to look at if you want to cover your tummy, but you may not have time to send back/exchange unless you have a retail store near you.

Victorias secret, I got 2 bathing suits for like 80 bucks and they are amazing! they also let you mix and match bottoms and tops so you aren't limited.
I found a cute and flattering tankini at JCPenny this year., but I bought it months ago by now.
