What's your latest 'hit of the party' appetizer (that doesn't require an oven)?
Thanks!

Chicken in a bisquit crakers and a garlic and cheese spread. If you have a sams club, spinach and artichoke cream dip, heat in microwave till warm and serve in a sour dough bread bowl, (just hollow it out and put the dip in it warm and take the extra hollowed out bread and tear into small pieces, served around the bowl on a platter. Also strawberry cream treats. slice the bottom of the stawberry(were the little stem is) so it will stand point up, cut and X, make a filling of cream cheese and powered sugar, ( mix with mixer) could had a little butter if you want (will make it really rich), but in a baggie, snip the corner bottom squeeze into stawberry, strawberry will open up like a flower, top with a sliver of almond. These go over very well and are usally all eaten up... Have fun..

Super easy and I constantly have to send people the recipe:

Spread a store-bought jar of pesto on a plate
Sprinkle the following over the pesto:
- crumbled feta cheese
- chopped grape tomatoes
- chopped kalamata olives

Serve with pita chips to scrape/scoop off the plate.

People devour it and it is really pretty.

One of my friends calls this vegie dip "orgasmic"....not the thought I was going for when I created it!

equal amounts of fat-free cream cheese & light margarine (or butter). Usually 16oz of each, but it depends on whether you want your dip "loaded" or not. Use 8oz of each if you want "loaded".

1 bunch of radishes, ground
1 pkg of blue cheese crumbles (use to taste, often I use just 1/2 of it)
fresh ground cracked black pepper
minced green onions, about 3
minced pepperoncini, about 8

& you can either add garlic powder (or minced garlic) & Italian seasoning ....OR you can use a Good Seasonings dry dressing mix - the Zesty Italian or Caesar.

For a heartier dip, I sometimes add minced salami or ham. Serve with vegies, sturdy crackers, &/or Italian bread toasts.

Buffalo Chicken dip - NO OVEN! I make it in a small crock pot, and the guests RAVE over it.

Two, 8 oz packages of cream cheese
Two large cans of canned white meat chicken
1/2 bottle Franks original red hot sauce
1/4 cup ranch dip/dressing
1 cup shredded cheese

Dump it all in and let it heat up over about 2 hours.
Serve with celery, and tortilla chips.

I posted a similar question about a week ago - I was in a panic about bringing something good to someone's house. I finally decided on skewers of small mozzarella balls. I took a skewer that was maybe 4-5 inches long and did a mozz ball, basil leaf, black olive, grape tomato & then a green pimento stuffed olive. You could also do a piece of sliced salami (folded in quarters). I set them all on a long narrow tray lined with curly lettuce leaves and then drizzled some store-bought balsamic glaze on them with a squirt bottle. They were such a hit! - easy and no real "cooking"!
