Anyone Buy from Schwan's?

Stuffed salmon, tilapia, mini pizzas(6 inch), pierogies(pasta stuffed with mashed potatoes), Golden Nugget Icecream Barrs.

We live on Schwan's. The boneless, skinless chicken breasts are much better than what I can find in grocery stores. I never have to trim any fat off of them, and they are much larger than what I see in stores. I also love the chicken strips, but they aren't very healthy (I fry them). Other favorites in our house are turkey/mashed potatoes, waffles, pancakes, golden fruit medley, corn, asparagus, chipotle mini tacos, cream cheese mini poppers, creamy mashed potatoes and biscuits. Someone mentioned that they didn't like the pizza, and I don't eat pizza, but my husband and sons LOVE Schwan's pizzas. They always run a special where you save money if you buy 3 pizzas, and I buy at least 3 every order. I order other things too, but these are things I order almost every time. I would be lost without Schwan's. It saves me so much time, and it really saves us money too since we don't eat out very often at all anymore, now. We've been using Schwan's for years.

You'll just have to see what looks good for you. I am a customer and was a route manager at one point. They are awesome, a bit expensive, but awesome.

All their ice cream is to die or and the meat is the highest quality. Their pizza's are good too. There's just so much to choose from.

We always got Schwann's when I was a kid...

The only thing I remember were the Mint and Chocolate ice cream bars :)

Oh we loved the Icecream bars growing up! Golden Nuggets I think and the Silver Mints. Loved those!

yes i get my frozen blueberries for my smoothies and veggies. The quality is much better.
Some of the meals and snack items are high in sodium. So something to keep in mind. The tamales are nice as well.

I buy from Schwans but I usually only buy dessert like items and juice concentrate. The ice cream is the best and its pretty reasonably priced ($4.99) Dulce de Leche and chocolate peanut butter are the favorites in my house. The pizza is good to, just kinda pricey.

I used to get Schwan's. Everything is very good. The chicken nuggets will spoil you. They had french toast sticks that were also very awesome. I'm sure their menu has changed since I used them last. It's pricey, yet convenient and tasty. The rootbeer float bars was one of our favorite treats from the truck.

I used to get them but the family is now only 2 and we don't eat as much. I loved the ice cream, frozen veggies, the individual lazangas, french fries, pork chops, shrimp and fruits. It does cost more but the quality of the product is much better than many stores. Besides you are also paying for the convenience of the truck coming to your home.

I do miss them but my freezer is full at the moment.

I have bought their ice cream, meat, frozen veggies. The ice cream is good and reasonably priced, the meat is overpriced, the pizza is disgusting, like Totinos quality (but not overpriced), and the veggies are way overpriced. So everything I have tried there tasted good except the pizza.

I have been buying from Schwan's twice a month for the past year. For a small family of like three people, it's ok. If you are buying for a larger family, it can get very expensive. The portions are small and most of the food is overpriced. Everyone rants and raves about their ice cream, but I've tried better ice creams at the grocery store. The things that I repeatedly buy are their cinnamon apple french toast sticks and buttermilk pancakes. The pot pies are good too. Most of the other stuff that I tried was nothing to write home about.

I used to get Schwans when before we moved to this house. There were some things that were spectacular and some not so much lol. We got little cartons of concentrated juice that you add water to. those were great. the ice cream was good although I felt it was a little pricey but then again you don't have to go out to get it so that counts lol. the pizza yuck. the pork chops were spectacular. but woohoooo very expensive. the frozen veggies we loved. if you have ever gotten anything from market day then some of it is along the same lines. frozen and more for conveneince that taste lol
