Any Problems with Orthro Evra

Used it and loved it - I would definitely recommend it. Unless you are breastfeeding...it dries you right up!

Used it and had HORRIBLE issues because of it! I don't suggest it for anyone. The risks are far too high. Caused massive blood clotting, intense cramping and severe bodily changes. At one point I was having mini strokes due to it. After almost a year of trying to "get used to it", I began getting really really sick for 2 weeks at a time when I put it on. After 2 trips to the ER for dehydration and vomiting the doctors decided it was the birth control and had me stop taking it. I went to Nuva Ring which worked fine for a long time but it eventually gave me the vomiting as well. But I have now gone a more natural route and use condoms to avoid side effects in birth controls. I used it and I had a lot of problems with it. For one thing it turned my skin bright red. And when I stopped using it, I had a lot of problems getting my periods back on track. In fact, two years later they are still not on track. I am not saying it is all caused by the patch, but that is what set it off. I haven't been able to use any birth control since and I have tried several. When I quit using the patch, I didn't get a period for about three months and had to have the doctor give me medicine to make it start again. Just be careful with it.

Use it and loved it. Had to quit using it though because of an allergy to the adhesive. Just make sure you do check all warnings through the FDA on it I know it was recalled for awhile there.

I did have problems with it. It was the first birth control that I took when I had my first child. It made me feel horrible my whole body hurt really bad. After like 2 days that I had stopped using it I still felt bad. I couldn't get out of bed. I had bad chest pains and back pains. For me it didn't work.

I have used it for 5 years now and love it, i wouldn't use anything else.

When I had it I loved it. Never had any problems, very little cramps or bleeding. It was wonderful. I have heard bad things about it the recall and everything. But for me I never had a problem. I loved it because I always forget the pill so it wash great. But just in case I did stop using it because of the recall. I did not want to take that chance. Now they have some many other things. The ring, or Mireana and etc.
