Hello Mom's got a question for all of you.

My daughter is 6 1/2 months old. I am still nursing her and about a month after having her, c-section, I started getting my period. My doctor gave me a prescription for Jolivette. I didn't start taking it right away. I officially started two months ago. The first month I was bad a remembering, this last month, I have gotten better at remembering, however, here is where my problem comes. I got a normal period about 3 weeks ago and since then, I have gotten it every sunday and it goes until Tuesday. This has been ongoing and works like clockwork. Has any one else had this problem? It is very annoying and heavy to boot. I haven't called my doctor yet and can't find any information about this.

What can I do next?

I am on the same pills for about a year now---well, I was originally on Clarissa but it switched to Jolivette a few months ago. My daughter is 15 months old, and she is still nursing-- although only nursing a few times each day. I haven't had a full period since she was born, but I have had my period "attempt" to come back a few times over the last few months, but only for a few days. You post makes me think it could be the difference in the pills as opposed to her reduced feedings. Call your doctor because as long as you are nursing, your periods should not be that heavy, I don't think. Congrats on your continued nursing with a full time job!

Please call your doctor. That much bleeding is unusual and will take a toll on your iron levels. Good luck!

I'm on that same pill and I haven't had it do that, call your dr and maybe he can switch you to something else, that would be way annoying.

Call the doctor right away. This medication is not right for you and your body is reacting negatively. Call the Doctor..
