After Wearing Glasses for Years...

Has anyone experience how wearing glasses has made your face look "weighed down"? I've been wearing glasses for over 10 years...but wear contacts here and there, but since my eyes are often tired, I tend to just reach for my glasses. I've noticed that my glasses have been making my face looked weighed down. Anyone know of a cream or something to where your face looks more 'LIFTED'?

What can I do next?

I would go to a place like Ulta or Sephora where they sell a TON of products to see what they suggest, that is not something I have had the need for thus far, neither have any of my clients. Are your glasses too heavy for your face to begin with? It could also be that the skin around your eyes is too thin and you need a collogen type eye cream to help fill it out and a firming cream to help the skin. A deremtologist may also be the answer depending on your skin issues.

I LOVE H2O+ products. Check online to see if there's any stores near you. There are none in Michigan. So I have to order things online, but if it tells you that it does X, it will do X.

The undereye brightener helped my dark circles quite a bit. They have a cream to help with puffiness under the eyes too which helps me. I get the bags and dark circles from allergies and constant glasses wearing.

Having worked in the optical field it sounds like it's a frame selection issue. If you look for frames that have less plastic or metal that might help. I personally wouldn't suggest a drill mount (ie: Silhouettes, or any frameless) if you have young children because they can be so fragile. I have a pair of rimless glasses, where there isn't anything on the bottom and haven't noticed my face looking weighed down. I've been wearing glasses for about 20 years.

I wear glasses - can't wear contacts - I wear Silhouettes... they weigh nothing - they are rimless and they never ever bother my ears or my nose.

I have worn glasses for 12 years and contacts. I wear Marchon Airlocks, they are like the silloettes. Rimless and a flexible frame. You hardly see them and you see your face instead of glasses. This is my 2nd pair. I'll neverswitch back to framed. They are great for little ones that like to pull them off your face too. :-)
