Has anyone ever had this experience? Aching in upper abdomen, right around ribcage with diarrhea? No weight loss or anything like that. I've been stressed out lately with kids, work, life, career.

Thanks,

E.

So What Happened?

It seems like what was bothering me was a stomach bug, possibly in conjunction with AF. Anyhow, feeling much better.

Possibly your gall bladder....You need to make an appt to get checked though or if it gets really bad head to the ER because it could be a host of things in that area. I just had my gall bladder out and had the same problem, but I don't think you should take my diagnosis....Get yourself seen and then you can get taken care of the way you need to be. :)

My thoughts are gallbladder. Is the aching in the middle or the right?

Could be gall bladder if on the right side (though with mine i had extreme pain and it wrapped all the way around, basically where a bra band would go).

My gallbladder pain was like that. I also had terrible pain straight across my back, from left to right under shoulderblades. Go check with the doctor it is not worth the pain to wait.

Hi E.: My first thought was gall bladder. Another thought is there is something going on in your colon. If you are anywhere near the Cumming area, you may want to consider going to Dr. Baldrich - he is wonderful and so kind and caring. I've been going to him for several years now and just love him. He's a very gifted gastroenterologist and he will tell you what the problem is. Best of luck (His phone no. is ###-###-####)

Hi E., sounds like it might be a little constipation. Diarrhea often accompanies constipation. Your colon comes up pretty high, right under your diaphragm at your ribcage. If you have a hard spot that your body is trying to pass, you can feel pain where it's moving or stuff is having to move around it. I had that pain a few times when I was pregnant - like it was taking a really hard right turn!! hope you feel better.

Please have your gall bladder checked. I have had the same thing happening to me and it was my gall bladder. It's a start.
