My daughter turns 4 in a few weeks and she wants her party to be a pajama party. She realizes that her friends wont be sleeping over, but thinks it would be cool for people to come in their pjs and sit on sleeping bags. Anyone have suggestions for cute games, crafts etc to make this party a success?

What can I do next?

My daughter went to a pajama party breakfast once when she was young.
You could serve cute pancakes and or muffins. this site http://www.ehow.com/how_###-###-####_throw-birthday-pajam... has ideas for favors and a decorate a pillow craft, decorations that are stars and moons. Another idea would be to buy plain white Tshirts in a size 6/8 and let them decorate sleep shirts. Have Fun!
You could decorate the house with a stars and moons theme and decorate a cake something like http://www.marthastewart.com/343304/stars-and-moon-cake

We did this for my daughter when she turned five. The kids came for lunch and we served pancakes, fruit salad, OJ and milk. For cake, I took doughnuts and layered them on a platter in tiers, like a pyramid. We stuck a number five candle in the hole of the top doughnut. I bought plain pillow cases from Amazon and we tie died them. The girls brought sleeping bags and we set them up in the living room. I read a few pajama party picture books. I asked out local librarian for recommendations. The girls had a blast. Good luck!

Have a PJ contest. Have prizes for the most outrageous, cutest, softest, etc.

I love the pillow case idea. Decorate them with puff paint.

You could also make it a morning party as someone else stated and have them decorate their own donuts. You could have glazed donuts and bowls of various sprinkles, etc. Have a spray bottle with water in it, lightly spray the donuts so the sprinkles stick well. Even though we all know that donuts are sticky, once the glaze sits for a while the sprinkles won't stick when they dip them. A little water will help it stick.

Have fun!!

What a great idea for a theme! I think I'm going to suggest this to my son. Pajama day at school is his favorite day, so this is perfect for him! Thanks :)
