Go and Grow Formula by Similac

Anybody have any experience with the Go and Grow formula by Similac? It is designed for kids older than 9 months as a transition to cow's milk, I think. Essentially, it is supposed to offer better, more balanced nutrition than regular formula for kids who are older. My question is if I have a healthy (25lbs at 10 months!) boy who I feel has a balanced diet of purees and finger foods and tops it off with regular formula, do I have to switch to the Go and Grow, or can I just keep doing what I am doing and introduce cow's milk when he's...

Baby Questions About Sleep and Food.

Hello, i put my three month old son, down for a nap at about 1130-12 o'clock. He can sleep for about an hour to an hour and a half. After he's sleeping, i do things i need to do, around the house and for my education since im graduating this year. But lately, he's been sleeping for about a half an hour and the way he wakes up, he starts crying and screams on the top of his lungs. I wait a few minutes to see if he'll go back to sleep just because im not sure, if he had a 'night mare'. He'll stop and then 5 minutes later he'll start...

Powder vs Liquid Soy Similac - Any Difference?

Hi Moms, our doctor recommended soy for our son as he was not digesting the rgular similac. He spit up quite a bit and had a bm during/after each bottle. Although he is gaining weight (he's 4 mos and people always guess 6mos!) we were concerned that he was not absorbing the nutrients from his formula. Now he is on soy, and still spits up regularly, but bms have reduced. I wondered if any moms have noticed a difference between the powdered similac soy and liquid, other than cost. The next step is nutramigen if soy doesn't work, but I...

Enfamil or Similac

Hi ladies, I am wondering if any of you have had the experience of using both of these brands and can help me make a decision on which to go with. I used Similac Isolmil Advanced with my daughter but just read a study that the Enfamil ProSobee Lipil has higher levels of nutrients in it than the Similac. I am so used to the name brand Similac that using something different worries me without some input. If any of you could share your experiences with me I would appreciate it! Also, just in case, I am not at all against breast feeding and...
