Hi! I started feeding my almost 7 month old son solids when he was almost 6 months old. I waited until the signs were there; sitting up, good head and neck control, interested in what we're eating, making chewing motions with his mouth. Allergic to Dairy

My one year old is allergic to dairy. This was easy when he was on formula and baby food because I didn't really worry about. Now I am feeding him Rice Milk but I am having a hard time with snacks and table food. Most of what I make for my family has milk or cheese or some other dairy product in it. I have a 6 week old baby boy. i have been breastfeeding and formula feeding up until this point but i am trying to get him to have formula only. he's up to 4 oz of formula but gets extremly fussy around his 8:00pm feeding and crys histericaly. i have to end up giving him another bottle within the hour of about 2-3 oz. how many oz should a 6 week old be drinking???? and when does he stop waking up every 3 hours for feedings??

Anyone with Experience Using a FOOD MILL for Making Stage 1 Baby Food??

Has anyone had success in making stage 1 consistency baby food with a food mill? If so, what brand/model food mill did you use? How did you prepare the food prior to putting through the mill?
