Hello,

Has anyone purchased anything on Zulilly? I signed up and receive e-mails and there seems to be some good deals, so I was wondering what kind of experience you had with them and would you reccommend shopping there, thanks in advance!!

Hope everyone is having a good monday =)

So What Happened?

Thank you so much to everyone for sharing their experiences I appreciate it!

I was worried about buying clothes since you can't return them, plus I like to try things on first. However, they had curatin panels that were different than I usually see in the store and were a great price and you actually got 2 panels instead of having to buy them separately which is usually the case in the store and gets pretty expensive.
They also had tall boots for less than $40, I really wanted those but sadly they didn't have my size.

Have a great day and thanks again for all of your input :)

Zulily is great! I had read about shipping reviews for Zulily and was at first deterred, but I went ahead and bought the Ergobaby carrier. It retailed for $145 and I bought it for $54. You have to move quick because these deals don't last but for a few days. I had researched carriers before shopping at Zulily and found out there are knockoff Ergobaby carriers. I contacted the Ergobaby site to see if Zulily is authorized to sell them and if they were from there, they do business with Zulily and they come directly from Ergobaby. I bought it on Zulily on a Monday, and it came three days later. Super fast and my shipping was just the standard one, which was cheaper. Very happy!

I've purchased several things via Zulilly. Never had a problem. They don't offer the fastest shipping in the world, but it wasn't months...

You have to bear in mind that 1. you will often have to wait a few weeks for things to ship and 2. nothing is returnable. It's clearance. Often things ship to me faster than expected, but don't order anything for Christmas a week before the holiday! If you want things faster, look at the listings that are closing soon or on their last day. That means the sale will end very soon and be shipped. Like ANY store, you need to compare prices if price is most important to you. I've put the same item in my cart on 3 different websites to see what the cost of the item would be INCLUDING shipping. And a tip - if you buy something on Friday, Zulilly will ship items bought Saturday and Sunday free. Or if you buy one item earlier in the day, the rest of the day is free shipping. I use that a lot around the holidays.

That said, I have been happy with the quality and products I have bought from them. I have only once had a shipment go awry. The product was not available anymore and I got a refund and store credit. I ended up getting a coat for my DD for $9. I tend to buy things I am certain about re: sizing, like a toy or hat and scarf set or a jacket vs shoes (unless they are a brand I know, like Stride Rite, and I know what DD wears).

The only things I haven't liked from my orders has been clothing for myself, and a pair of New Balance shoes that just don't quite fit right (like they weren't manufactured well). I won't buy any clothes for myself from there anymore, but I do find great kids' stuff. Their prices aren't always as good as they try to make it seem, but I have gotten some great deals there too.

I have gotten a few things from there and it has all been good stuff. Great experience althought it can take up to 4-6 weeks to get your purchases. I don't recommend it if you need something in a short timeframe :)

Hi! I also signed up but haven't actually ordered anything. I have put things in my basket a few times, but the items I have thought about ordering have always said they couldn't be returned. When I noticed I couldn't return them, I chickened out. Not a good deal after all if I'm stuck with something that doesn't fit. I'm not sure if everything is non-returnable or just some things, but I would pay attention to that if that is a big deal to you like it is to me. Will be interested to see what others say.

Take care and good luck!

Shipping takes FOREVER. like I had to wait 4 weeks for a gift. Missed the bday and gave a rain check. It was my 3 year old nephew so he didn't care n his mom shops there all the time. Got my girls shoes. They fell apart in 2 months. Bathing suits I ordered faded before summer was over. I have heard people have good experiences but I did not. The one good thing was a fort thing Santa brought the girls. Amazon was slightly more with their free shipping and probably would only be 2 days vs. 21.

I love zulilly. I have bought Teva flip-flops for 14.99 instead of $25. I am often able to find cute clothes for my girls. Some of the stuff is still way out of the range I would pay for clothes for them, but I'm sure some people buy them. They often have the smocked dresses for little girls from different companies. There are many brand names that I am familiar with and some I don't know.
My girls have outfits that ran around $10-$15 for both pieces, they got $8 bathing suits and some Dora adventurer packs for next to nothing. Aside from my favorite Teva shoes in several styles and colors, I bought some elomi and Fantasie bras. I am a hard to find size and they are usually $50-$85 each at HerRoom, Lady Grace, etc. I got 4 pair for under $70! Shipping was slow compaired to Amazon, but at the price I paid it's worth it.
If you buy something and decide to get more before midnight, the shipping price doesn't change. One price shipping 'til 12am. I am waiting on some brown leggings that I ordered last week. Havent found a single pair anywhere near where I live (in my size) and these were just $8.99! (Got a navy pair too!)
They have a lot of reg., maternity, AND plus size clothing for women, great clothes for babies, boys, girls. Shoes for all and sometimes men too. (I saw some for men when Crocs was on sale there) They have toys, books, games, home goods and a lot of the time you will see specialty clothing like for dance, gymnastics, horseback riding, soccer, etc.

Just watch what you are buying. They do have a lot of good stuff and have good customer service. A lot of time by the time you add in shipping fees and the long wait it's just as "cheap" to buy the item on sale or with a coupon at the mall. Also, I stopped buying a lot of the girls clothing after I saw the same exact dresses for $16.99 at Sears and they were $19.99 on Zulily plus shipping. Plus remember you can't return the item so I never buy clothes for myself.

They have the best customer service. I purchased some diapers that leaked & they gave me a full refund & I didn't have to return them.

yes I have. I got the 'dollie and me outfits' and I felt it was a good deal.

I do compare prices though. Sometimes Zulilly put an expensive list price and cuts it in half. In one case they had My Little Pony hair clips (a party favor pack). I google it and they were cheaper at Party City. I think Zulliy had a set of 16 for 9.99* and Party City let you get them in packs of 8 for 4.99. So looks like the same price, but i would get to see them in person, purchase fewer if I needed to and have the option to return them to Party City if I changed my mind.

*I do not recall actual price so I put what I think I recalled for the example.

I've ordered from them several times and been very happy with the price paid and the quality received. I agree with others that the shipping isn't the fastest, but it's not the slowest either. I've found that many of the brands of children's/baby clothes run small, so I usually order a size up.

Yes there are BUTTTTT watch it when it comes to boutique items like bows, tutus etc. that stuff is super over priced. I own a online childrens boutique and most of the boutique items are items purchased from china and are not handmade us boutique items and you can buy the same items on sites like haloheaven.com (tutus are just a few dollars and they have them on zulily for stuff like 15 or 20) makes me cringe..

For example today from hair flair and pink poseys the clips. they say normally 13-19 normally that is BALOGNA!!! those are normally on etsy for no more than 6... they have them on there on sale for 7-8 and you have to wait a while to get it... just buy it from Etsy andthen you get them handmade in the us the ones there are ones bought from China suppliers

But you can find good deals on lots of other stuff.

I have mixed feelings that tend towards don't use it. Yes, the stuff is super cute, but you can't return anything. So, if you know the brand and size then go for it. But trying something new is not the best idea. I've gotten stuck with stuff that is poorly made. I find that a lot of their stuff can be second quality (Hannna Andersson). So buyer beware!
