YOU On a Diet

Is anyone doing this diet? I heard about it from a friend and then saw the program on PBS and it looks good and reasonable, but was curious if anyone was using it. I need to lose about 90 pounds, but need something that works. I have done Protein Power (low carb), Weight Watchers, and everything else under the sun. Just curious if I should try this or not.

Thanks,

J.

So What Happened?

So may people are asking so I thought I would tell you. YOU on a Diet is the name of the diet. Seems like everyone says "which diet?" That is the name of it. It was created by two doctors, Dr. Michael Roizen and Dr. Mehmet Oz. They were on Oprah, but I did not see them there. They had a PBS special and will have another on 3/17 at 12p.m. If you are interested I would suggest you tape it or watch it. It is very informative and makes a lot of sense. I just wanted to see if anyone here was following and if so what the success rate was, etc.

Do you workout? I've been in a fitness camp for several months now and have trimmed down beautifully. The instructor is a male but all the campers are girls. One of the girls has lost 70 pounds and counting. You can choose the time you workout depending on the package you choose. Let me know if you are interested. The next camp begins after Spring Break.

In Him,

HI J. -
I don't know about the program you're speaking of, but I've been involved with an incredible nutritional program now for about 9 months and it is truly fantastic! It involves a cleansing product - which if you're aware of, can assist in making a dramatic difference in not only weight loss, but overall health and vitality and often a variety of symptom reductions. Anyway, after the cleanse product, there's a (mostly organic) nutritional shake including all the essential vitamins, amino acids, minerals and even enzymes which helps the body to digest and fully assimilate all the nutrients. (and it's delicious! - kids love it - which is a whole another huge bonus!! - think focus, think attention span..and more!) Both increased energy and weight loss are commonplace and I have heard so many testimonials including my own, that it is pretty astounding. There is also the opportunity for significant residual income if one wants to go that route. If you would like more info, feel free to call me at ###-###-####, or start off with visiting my wegbsite at www.corehealth.isagenix.com. Just to give you an idea of how well this company is doing, and how popular their many fantastic nutritional products and programs are, they grew at 90% from 2004 - 2005 to over $120 million! Pretty amazing. Anyway, I'd love to tell you more, so if you're interested, feel free to email or to call!
look forward to heearing back from you if you're interested!

Hi J.,

I have the book and thought the recipes were very good and the diet made sense. I've tried boot camps, a nutritionist and now I am doing weight watchers.

My advice is to do something that holds you accountable and to include exercise. For example while you work at home sit on a core ball to help you build your core. When you get a quick break, go for a walk...every little bit helps.

Good Luck.

I have read the book and think his diet is great, because it teaches you about how your body reacts to food and processes it and teaches you the foods to avoid. He recommended only 30 minutes of walking a day which can be split up. I think he has a great plan and have been doing it now for a few months to loose baby weight. I have been losing so I recommend trying it.
