Hi Ladies,
We are visiting the Wisconsin Dells the week of July 18-23rd. I have not yet purchased the coupon discount book. We have been to the Dells before but I don't remember if we had this coupon book. Do you think it is worth the $20 cost? I would have to order it this week to ensure we get it in time.
Details: we have a 5 year old and almost 2 year old and already have Ducks, Tommy Bartlett, and Noah's Ark tix through our hotel package. So other coupons that may be of interest may be the Mining company, mini golf, another water park or maybe Noah's Ark again, other misc activities and definately food! So is the book worth it?

As far as lodging, we strictly used online resources to review various places. We've stayed at the Wilderness before and loved it but needed something more economical this year so we went with the Meadow Brook Resort. Hoping it is ok!

This is a radio shopping show located out of Elgin. they have tons of stuff for Wisc Dells at very discounted rates (ie. mini golf for $2) and they even sell the discounted food and attraction cards for $3 or $4 - they normally sell for $10. And they can even mail the certificates to you. Just be sure to check out restirictions (if any). These certificates can save you tons of money. Have a great vacation!
At the time we got it last year, it was worth it. We got more than our money back with just one bogo coupon for Chula Vista waterpark. You can pick them up in different locations and look at it first. I think I got mine from a convenience store in Rockford, IL when we stopped for lunch.

Have fun on your vacation! The Storybook Gardens next to Noah's Ark is really cool. The kids get very up close to the animals and can even feed them.

I used the book a few years ago and it was totally worth it. But only if you plan to really do things and eat out etc. Sign up for the promotions today and see if you get a coupon for savings off of the booklet. I did that and got $4 off. Or you might be able to google for a savings off it. on Dells.com click on the online coupons and enter in your email. YOu get savings that way as well. I think the coupon book had a buy one get one for the mining company and that was half the cost of the book, plus the discount on the boat rides took care of the cost of the book. My kids loved doing the mining. I think they were 6 or 7 at the time.
I used the coupon book a few year back and it was well worth it. Riverview Park had a coupon in there that saved us a boat load of money. They have a great kids waterpark, and a nighttime ride/carnival/games park that is also included in the coupon. The book paid for itself about 30 times over. Have a great vacation!
why not go to radioshoppingshow.com and see what they have to offer (they tend to always have WI Dells certificates). You can go on there now. I know they are going to have their big sale (when they air live) this Friday. But, you can check it out now and plan on calling. You should also call their number ###-###-#### and get a key tag (it will make it much easier when you place an order). Once the items are sold, they are sold, so you'll have to call in quick to get the best options.
Sounds like it's worth it to me. I am curious about hotels there, too. How did you find lodging. I only went there once about 24 years ago.
