Moscato sweet white wine with undertones of peach and honey.

I also like simple Sweet Red Wine, by Liberty Creek.

I agree I prefer sweet wines. I do however like Malbeck with rare beef. but Malbeck is a bold drier wine.

I do not like any Arbor Mist to me they taste like a bad soda pop.

I agree with TF below in that everyone's palette is different.

A moderately priced...yet tasty (IMO) sweeter wine is 'Sutter Home' white zinfandel.

I would also encourage you to visit local wineries...First, because it is FUN...second...because it is educational - and can help you explore YOUR palette...and Third...because it supports local businesses.

Gewurtztraminer is a nice sweet white wine. I like Asti-Spumante for a sweet sparkling wine. These are the types of wines, you can find them in many different brands.

not sure what you would like-Moscato is sweet-but it sounds like you might be a candidate for some good Sangria-made this over the summer and it was fantastic-cheers!:

Moscato from Italy or Malbec from Argentina might be your fit.

If you are looking for syrupy sweet, then try a port wine. They have some nice smooth white ports that are just as good as the red.

RR's suggestion of a moscato is a lovely choice. It's bubbly, fun, and very tasty.

For semi-dry, try rieslings or gewurtztraminers. They are very fruity, nice acid, and easy drinking. Really seem like "sweet," but not cloying.

I suppose you could always try something like a port or a red dessert wine.

For something really sweet, try a dessert wine (like and ice wine). But these are typically best in small doses.

I second the Gewurtztraminer and also the Moscato, both of which are whites. There is a red variety of the Moscato, which is also sweeter than most reds.

One thing I noticed about the local winery down here when I actually went (before I discovered they sold it at the PX!) was that they had labels on the shelves showing the sweetness/dryness of the wine on a scale. So maybe check out a local winery and see if they have something similar. If not, the staff would most likely be more than happy to point you in the right direction!

I would recommend any Moscato.

I suspect you would really love some Reunite Lambrusco or some Arbor Mist.

It's light and sweet and wonderful. We always drink it at our scrapbooking parties. ;) You can drink it in a wine glass, or you can also make mixed drinks with it. Yum!

That is such a broad question.

Do you prefer reds, white, zinfindels, etc.

My local grocery store has a wine guy on hand full time to answer questions about wine, types, etc. If you don't have that in your grocery, try a wine store. Explain what you like... to the clerk. They can best help you because the know about all types of brands, etc.

We drink a lot of reds, Merlot and Cab with a favorite brand being Sterling. Hubby likes a dry, buttery, oak flavor and the Sterling Chardonney suits him.

I can't drink white wines or the zinfindels. I like the bolder reds. I think the zinfindels or blends might be more what you are looking for.

I don't care for most dry wines either. The ones that I have found to be most enjoyable are Viognier and Muscato. Hope you find some that you like!

Mead. It's an English dessert wine made with honey.
Riesling. A german wine that is sweet.
