Wiggles B-day Party
I'm a mom of a soon to be 2 year old who is OBSESSED with the Wiggles!!! For his b-day this June I want to buy a birthday cake in the shape of the BIG RED CAR that the wiggles drive. Anyway, this b-day has to be extra special as we will be moving away in July for school so family from out of town will visit, so I want to make it extra special without braking the bank of course. Does anyone know of a bakery that would do a good job recreating this? or of a place that does wiggles cakes?? A lot of groceries stores won't put a picture of the wiggles or anything because of copyright issues. Anyway, any ideas will be appreciated.

Not sure if this would help, but I've dealt with copyright issues in the past by emailing the organization and requesting permission to use an image. I bet if you got a release statement from the Wiggles a grocery store would put the picture on.

J. - I don't know if you like to bake but the below website had a bunch of adorable wiggles cakes. If you can't find a bakery that will mimic this you may be able to do it yourself. I have made my childrens birthday cakes for years. Sometimes you can even find a pan that you want. Some of the examples on the website said they used a race car pan. These are very easy and fun to do. Besides the rest of the family will thing you are the coolest. Haha.
Any questions or if you need help my email is ____@____.com.

Try Candy Haven in Denton. If that doesn't work, I have a cousin who does cakes that are FABULOUS. She did a princcess castle for her niece's birthday. The cake was 3 feet tall, had a moat and everything. It's a little pricey, but she's really good. She's doing my kids cakes this year -- baby einstein caterpillar for my son's 1st, and cookie monster for my daughter's 3rd

I don't know of a specific bakery you could use, but I know of a website you can use to find a bakery near-by that might help you. www.local.com It makes it easy to find what you are looking for locally.
Hope this helps!

I am an artist in the Dallas area and I have actually just put a request in to Hit Entertainment to gain permission to do a wiggles mural. I can give you the lady's number that I called. I am supposed to hear back in a few days from their legal dept so I can let you know about what I find out too.
It says on their website that you can reproduce their stuff by you for your own personal use so if you are artsy in any way you could probably try to do it yourself with no legal issues. Since I am doing it for someone else I have to ask permission.
