Who's Watching, Who Are You Rooting For?

I just saw a sneak peak of the Budwieser Clydesdale commercial for the Superbowl. Got me to wondering who's watching the Superbowl today. Since the 49'rs are playing it is big here. The Harbough brothers angle makes it interesting. Of course there's halftime show and the commercials....Are you watching or not and why? I'm watching with family but will be up and down. I also plan to knit at the same time.

ETA: Forgot about the Puppy Bowl!
Thanks OneCrazyLady! I'm going to have to drop that in conversation "The Angry Birds Team". I'll give ya credit though! :-)

I bet you can guess when I posted this to my FB status: "You know....at our house you can't turn on the microwave if the iron is plugged in to an outlet on the same breaker....Just sayin'..."

What can I do next?

We'll be watching with snacks and treats! As to who we'll be rooting for...some kids are rooting for the "99'ers" and the other is rooting for the "angry birds team." Yep, you read it right! I honestly don't care to correct them, nor do I care who wins...I'm doing it for them!

Since the Pats didn't make it, I'm like, meh...I would rather watch the puppies in the Puppybowl.

We'll be watching of course. In about an hour and a half I'll start making the treats and all the goodies for the game. Everyone in our home is going for the 49ers though we won't be saddened or anything if they lose. I'm looking forward to enjoying the game with my daughter, 9, and son, 6, who while autistic is starting to really get into 'typical' things boys his age enjoy.

We are watching. We are NOT football fans and don't ever watch football games other than the Super Bowl. It's what everyone will be talking about, so I feel like we need to know what happened. We don't care about the game, but the kids (teens now) love that it's the one night a year that we eat dinner in front of the tv, and I'm all about any occasion for fun snacks and drinks. Plus, the commercials and halftime show are always good entertainment!

We are (well, I am) rooting for the Ravens! One of my sisters has lived in Maryland for over 30 years, so she and her sons and daughters in law are all very excited and I'm rooting along with them.

I might have it on. I'll watch it for the commercials...my horse is no longer in this race nor is my husband's....

I'm not a Raven's fan. They rate up their with the Saints and their intentional bad hits to injure players....

49ers - Kupernick (spelling) is a GREAT quarterback....so it should be an interesting game!

I'm watching, but only for the commercials. Although I tend to really get into the game at the end, especially if it's close. I'm not a football fan, so whoever is playing the best at the end is who I start rooting for.

So hard for me to decide! I grew up in the Bay Area as a 49ers fan but lived in Baltimore a long time, since even before the Ravens' first season. I think I'll be happy with whomever wins, but I'm slightly leaning toward the Ravens because it's Ray Lewis' last game and I like the Baltimore Harbough better than the SF Harbough.

I'll be half-watching. We declined a Super Bowl Party invitation so my husband can spend some more time with the kids, so we'll be watching as closely as we can while having 3 kids in the same room.

I hope the 49'rs win, just because I have family in the Bay Area who are big fans, but don't know any Ravens fans. If my Vikes can't make it to the Super Bowl, at least I can be happy for loved ones whose teams do make it there.

Got home after a girl's day a little after 6pm and the half time show started (I guess that shows my level of interest, which is pretty much zero!!)... I think Beyonce is talented and all that, but seriously, the songs and routines are just tired. You're fierce, we get it... Sorry for the tangent!!

Anyway, I was raised in the Bay Area in CA and consider it my home, so I guess I have to go with the Niners!! I hope they can pull it off!
