So today is our anniversary (YAY!) and he asked me this morning for my ring size (even bigger YAY!!) He knows I have been wanting an anniversary band for a few years, and apparently he decided to get it for me :o). My ring is a set though, so when he went to a jewelry store that is not where we got the set, they didn't have a band that would work. So since that fell through, he went to Best Buy to get me an iPad2 (lol). The main reason I need a computer right now is because I am crazy busy with my MBA and will be through the summer when I finish. Since the iPad won't allow you to download Microsoft Office, I won't be able to do my work on it. He is beyond bummed that he doesn't have a gift for me to open today!! Years ago he would only get me a card and be more than fine with that! WOW! Monday the kids are at school and we are both off, so we are going to head to the right jewelry store to get my ring and find him a great gift too! (My plan was to get him the iPad2 but he said since he just bought a brand new desktop and has the iPhone4, he doesn't need it either.)
So my question is - who did what with my husband and when are you sending him back to me?!?!
LOL - our relationship has been a complete roller coaster, but we work so hard to make it good. He is not perfect and neither am I. But for him to take this day that he knows is so special to me and try to please me - wow. He looked so sad when I told him this morning that we won't even get any alone time (outside of the normal) until Monday. I am so thankful for him and the work he puts in to make me happy.
Whoever he is, keep him.. Sounds like his love for you and appreciation for you has grown.. Happy Anniversary.. You both sound very lucky to have each other.

Happy anniversary! Ours in on Monday. Make sure you praise, thank, praise, thank, praise, thank...you get the idea. Tell hubby how great he is to treat you so wonderfully and how you love him so much for it and make sure you give him something *extra* special tonight that doesn't cost anything. =)

My anniversary is only 4 days before my birthday in January... IN MICHIGAN so we are usually dealing with a blizzard. We generally don't go anywhere because it's too dang cold and crappy.
So, we have Christmas, New Years, our anniversary, and then my birthday within 3wks. I don't expect much because it's all right there together. ☺
I think it is a virus. My husband caught it too and I do NOT want a cure. He was really attentive in my other pregnancies but seems to be more so this time around. He seems to be more considerate when I am just plain tired after working and just want to lie down and then of course dinner is late. Plus he is not complaining as much when we have just a simple meal.
Not sure if you can get this on an iPad2, I have it for my iMac.

Awe that is very sweet! I used to work at a jewelry store. They usually have catalogs full of band styles you can look through if you don't see any in the store. A lot of them have on site jewelers that can help create a custom one as well (for extra).
