I have 1/2 a garage full of my twin girls clothes, etc from age 2-4 that I'd like to sell in a lump sum to a place...I just want my garage back!!! Any suggestions on where I could take this much stuff and be done with it. ALl items are in great condidtion but I don't want to have to go back thru every box and spend a ton of time on this.

Any suggestions welcome!

What can I do next?

Do you have any idea how much you would like for these clothes? I would be interested in buying them.
I am a single stay at home mom and have managed to do so by buying/selling children's clothing, etc.
I can also suggest trying to sell them as a lot on cragslist. Otherwise like the other mom said, resale shops are selective and seasonal. Consignment sales are also very time consumning because you have to tag each item.
Please let me know! Thanks for your time!

There are several children's resale shops in the area.
Kids to Kids has several locations. The closest I know of is at Parker and Midway,
just across from Presbyterian Hospital Plano.
I have been told about a couple of other resale shops but cannot recall their names at this time.

I have twins that will be 29 this month. Currently I care for my 3 granddaughters and do a little freelance graphic design.

I've sold stuff to Once Upon A Child. They didn't give me as much as I would have liked for them, but if you're mainly concerned about getting your garage back, then it might be the way to go. Besides, you're not going to get as much back as you paid for them to begin with. (I think that's why I was annoyed.) But you'd definitely more back from them than if you had a garage sale and it'd be less trouble. Hope it works out!

You can take your stuff to CCA in Lewisville, and write the whole lot off as a donation on your taxes next year! They are in Lewisville, and you can also call them to arrange a time for them to come to your house to get it. (Christian Community Action is the full name.) They also run a re-sale shop, in addition to flat out giving needed things to local families, and the money raised that way also goes to help the families in need.)

To get the maximum on your donation deduction, you should probably make a list of donated items (clothing, toys, bed, etc.).

What about a garage sale advertised as a kids clothing sale...anything that doesn't sell can be donated. Where do you live? I'd participate with some of my daughter's clothes if you do go this route!

All the resale stores are only going to take clothing that is in season....they will probably start taking spring stuff here in a couple of weeks...I doubt you can take a garage full of stuff...you should just call them and talk to them and see what they say!
