Where to Run in Forney?

You could use the tracks at either of the middle schools or the high schools. Deciding would depend on which one is closer to you. The park on 548 has a nice trail as well, it is behind the softball fields. Mulberry Park is between Johnson Elementary and Warren Middle School on Bois 'd Arc/740, there is a nice path there to walk/run. A few of us football moms use it during the weeks our boys have practice there.

Where did you move to in Forney? There is the new community park but I don't know how many people are out there after 7 pm.

We live in Windmill Farms in the second phase and we have people outside jogging, running or cycling all the time. We ride our bicycles after 7 every night and go from the spyglass pool to the school and then throughout the neighborhood. I would think that if you are in a neighborhood people would be out and you could start walking for about a week just to see what is going on in your area.

The track at the Middle School is usually lit and I know several people go up there in the evenings. I know it as the old high school because I've lived in Forney my whole life but I think the new name is Warren Middle School. Also the park off of 548 has a great trail and there are usually people at it as well, plus I believe there are bicycle cops that ride around the park. If you live in Windmill Farms there is a great walking trail in the phase 2 part near the pool. Hope this helps!

Have you tried the trail in the park off of 548, next to the new justice center? or the track at the old football field by Warren Middle School on 740? Both are on the south side of 80.
