Hi J.,
It's nice to see someone else who likes to take advantage of the freebies on the internet. The cost of patterns has gotten totally outrageous! Here's a few links that might be of help...

what are you looking for patterns for? I have some sites that show tutorials of how to make certain items, but they are all for kids say 6 and under, nothing except knit and crochet items for adults.

Three times a year Hobby Lobby has each brand of patterns on sale for $.99. So about every third or fourth week either McCalls or Simplicity are on sale. I usually buy several of my favorites so if I lose a piece or one gets ripped I have replacements. The problem with downloading patterns is mostly the size of your printer paper. I have found the pieces not true to size and have wasted time and effort that was better put to use by just buying a trusted brand. Sewing/craft patterns are very affordable if you just wait until they are on sale.
If it's not clothing or craft patterns you're wanting then let us know so we can get a better idea of what you're looking for.
Having had my turn on the soapbox.

Try youcanmakethis.com
The have really cute stuff that is supposed to be easy to make. I have purchased two patterns from them and they have easy guides too for making sure that the patterns print out the right size too.
