Where Is the New Park near McKinney-Melissa-Anna??
Saturday morning I caught the end of a report on a new park with a splash pad near McKinney, but have not been able to find any more information about it!!
They showed a map with the cities of McKinney, Melissa,and Anna while giving the end of the report but I'm not sure exactly which city it is in! It sounded fun and I am anxious to find out where its at so if you guys know anything about it please let me know. I already tried the news station websites, city websites and google. I don't know where else to look!

There is a new splash pad park off Virginia and Custer. It is in a neighborhood. I can't remember the name of the neighborhood but the park is Aviator Park. The McKinney splash pads aren't as good as Celebration Park in Allen though just so you know.

I know there are currently two city-maintained splash pads in McKinney. One is in the Virginia Hills neighborhood off Virginia and Custer and the other is in Finch Park near the square. I'm not sure if they are active for the season yet, however.

The one in Virginia Hills is turned on now. We live in the neighborhood and were there Friday night and my boys were dying to play in it but it was too cold.

X-Stream Thrills Water Park is the name. Not sure if it is still going to be built or not since it was originally supposed to be open 2 years ago.
