We just moved here from North Carolina and live in a townhouse. We don't have our own yard, my toddler loves the snow. Where do you take your toddler for some snow action, mine loves to sled, just generally loves to play with the snow, thanks for your input.

What can I do next?

Call your local Park & Rec department...they can probably point you in the direction of an ice rink or some cool classes and outdoor programs, too.

How about any hills at a school?

I just take my kids outside to our front yard...we have a gentle slopping front yard that is perfect for lil' guy/girl sledding :)

How about just going for a drive and looking for a good little hill? Usually, you can find a good spot pretty easily...just keep your eyes peeled and look for all the cars parked along side the road!

Can you think of any parks in your area that have a slope to them?

Good Luck!

Is there a park nearby you can walk to? You could take your toddler to the park on a sled and let them play there.

We have a big yard so our kids just play either in the front or backyard. Occasionally we walk to my son's school and sled down the hill there.
