Where Can I Get a Turquoise Sweater or Shrug?

Help, mamas! My husband's high school reunion is this weekend and I want a turquoise cardigan sweater or shrug to go w/ my dress. Summer weight, of course. Long or 3/4 sleeves (because I've got this huge bruise on my arm from where my daughter bit me!). It's evening casual so I don't want to be awash in sequins, but a little glittery something on it wouldn't be bad. And I'd rather not spend a whole lot on it, if at all possible, because I need the money for shoes. Oh -- and it would be GREAT if I could get it in the Coppell/Grapevine/Irving/Lewisville area! Thanks so much!

So What Happened?

Thanks, everyone! I went shopping this afternoon and found the perfect shrug at Talbots Outlet at Vista Ridge in Lewisville, and great shoes at the DSW there as well. I did look at the Old Navy and Marshall's first (got a strapless bra at Marshalls so that was a good stop to make) but didn't find the shrug there.

Thanks again!

J.,

When I like to find things for special occasions, I shop at the Last Call store of Neimans at Grapevine Mills Mall. There is also a Marshall's in that mall.

If you like to shop online, one of my favorite sites for cardigans and sweaters is www.spiegel.com. This site has fashions for all sizes.

I hope this helps and gives you options.

Have a great time!

Jodi

Hi, J.! You might want to check out Ross/Marshalls/TJMaxx. There is a Ross in Lewisville next to Target on Hebron/I-35. The Marshalls in Lewisville is on Round Grove, just off of MacArthur. The TJMaxx and Ross is in Irving on MacArthur just past 635. A lot of times going to these stores requires sifting through the different racks (and patienc), but I typically find it worth it!

Good luck...and have fun meeting old H.S. buddies!

I actually found a really cute turquoise shrug at Old Navy. It has a little "shimmer" to it, but it doesn't have sequins. Great price too! Have fun and good luck!
