Hi! I am buying a place with wood pergo floors and need to buy a vacuum/cleaner for it. Are there any good ones that dust and clean the floors at once?? You don’t mop these types of floors with soap right?? I just need to figure this all out as my baby will be crawling around soon and I have a 4 year old making messes. Any suggestions on what is the best thing to buy for these floors?? Do I need a vacuum and duster/cleaner??

What can I do next?

You can't really hurt a Pergo floor. Use whatever you have. I have some laminate floors in my house, and I mop with Pine Sol and Bleach in hot water to clean them. In between mopping, I vacuum with either our Dyson Ball vacuum, the Eureka stick vacuum (you know, the kind that are like a dustbuster on a stick), and I "dust" using a Shark steam mop when necessary (I put it on the medium setting, no problems at all). Really anything you want to clean with will be fine.

I use Bruces wood floor cleaner. Spray & mop up.

Just vacuum and then clean with glass cleaner.

Sweep or vacuum first then mop with a little vinegar in water. They are easy to clean.
