Wedding Photographer Recommendation

I am in the process of a planning a wedding right now but I have decided I was going to have a photo student take my pictures. They normally have all the nice equipment and developing abilities and would appreciate doing a lot more work for a lot less money.

This might not be the easiest option. If money isn't an issue than the pro. studios would be the least hassle. I would suggest if you do pick an ameteur photographer to have the poses you want shot already in your mind.

As far as I'm concerned, the pictures are only as good as the pose so that might be the key to saving a lot of money!

When my husband and I got married I went through AAVA Wedding Photography & I LOVED THEM!!!!! They have several different packages for everyone. Theyused to be in Southfield but I believed they have remodeled & moved to Berkley Michigan. Ask for Mae,she is the owner & will take good care of you!! We are now expecting & I will be taking my baby there for his photos.

Hi! I dont know what area your sister lives in, but i went to vogue studios in dearborn heights. The photographers name is Naffi (sp). He is really friendy and takes great pictures. My sister used him as well and she has been married for 10 years. My friend also just had him last week at her wedding she really liked him too. Hope that helped!!

I used vogue studios for my wedding. I was not thrilled with them, but they were decent for the amount I had to spend. I spoke with Naffi, and he showed me his photos, but I did not get him come the day of my wedding. I was a bit dissapointed by that. I am a photographer (but children, not weddings!), and can recommend a few that I have personally worked with or know, and depending on your budget. The last one is a husband/wife team. Young and full of fresh ideas. Definately visit all their sites.

we got married almost 4 years ago. we used, on call photograghy.(they are in redford). they have a website too!they were VERY friendly and good!husband &wife team.

Belle Creative in Northville, they did our wedding and video and it was the best I have ever seen. They are a bit expensive but worth every penny of it. Everyone that has looked at our album and photo's says that it is the best they have seen also. They really do a great job, I can't say enough good things about them. It is a husband and wife and they work out of their home, their names are Bonnie and Craig, they are wonderful to work with.
