Looking for a Good Photographer in Montgomery County

I have several friends who are artists / photographers you could consider.

Kristy Urgo "Golden Photograpy" www.kristygolden.com. She lives in Philly, but has a large family located in Montgomery County and comes to visit often. She may also refer you to other photographers who are local.

Mary Clayton "MCC Artists" www.mccartists.com She lives and primarily works in the DC area.

Cynthia Sambro-Rier "Cynthia Sambro-Rier Photography" www.cynthiasambrorier.com. She shot my friends wedding and has also done some work for that friends family members with kids.

Michael Colella "Colella Photography" www.colellaphoto.com. He is a close family friend, shot our wedding and has done family portraiture for us for years. Has a great studio in his home and backyard in Kensington.

My friend had her pictures taken by Scott Hayne Photography.
Simply Amazing photos...however he is not in montgomery county. Check out his site to see some of his work. My husband and I are going to have out next family photo done by him. If you click on "The Blog" you will see some of his work.

Friends of mine are photographers in the Norfolk, VA area but they travel regularly to DC. They do wedding and family/kid portraits and are trained in photojournalism. Execellent work at non-DC prices. Check them out at: http://www.samhughesphotography.com/main.php

I work with a Mom of three who just opened her own photography business. Her name is Regina Brown. We work in Rockville and I think she lives in Germantown, so Montgomery County isn't a problem. Her focus is on families - maternity, babies, and child portraits. She's got some great examples up on her website. http://www.rmbphotogallery.com/

Todd Groesbeck is a wonderful photographer and portrait painter (http://www.ersatzart.com/portrait.html). I hired him to photograph my girls and he did a terrific job. He also painted their portraits and he really captured their spirits in such an amazing way. For a very reasonable price he spent a few hours taking our pictures at a park, he gave us the electronic copies of the photos along with copies of the ones we wanted, he painted portraits of the girls and scanned them so we could make copies for the grandparents. I used one of his pictures that he took of the girls for my Christmas Card last year. I don't think he has photos on his Web site but he does have a few of the portraits.

She is not located in Montgomery Co, but I believe she will travel.. she also has a studio.
She did the most beautiful outdoor photos of my girls, and everyone in our town uses her. she is amazing to work with and she does not rush at all. I never felt like she wanted to hurry up./

the photos she did for us and everyone I have seen have been incredible at capturing the spirit of the kids especiallY!
