I am trying to find a nice quiet place to elope to in March. Does anyone have any good ideas? We would like to stay in the US.

What can I do next?

We were married in Eureka Springs, Arkansas -- it's in the NW corner of the state, close to Missouri state line. It's a cute, little tourist town that has many hills and cute shops. They are known for having many weddings there. They have many wedding chapels, coordinators to help plan weddings and receptions. It was inexpensive compared to what we were planning to pay for a full wedding in Dallas. And everyone was so happy with the destination. You can drive to Eureka Springs in about a 6-8 hr drive from DFW, so my close relatives were able to attend.
We were married at Red Bud Valley Resort and we honeymooned at Beaver Lake Cottages, which overlook the lake and we saw deer from our cottage. Beautiful! Here's a link to the city's tourist information on weddings, hotels, b&b's, etc.

is money an issue? if not, we honeymooned in seaside, florida. my husband loved it and wished we would have married there (not something you say to your new wife who just spent 5 mos. planning the wedding. ha!). the website is www.seasidefl.com. we rented a cottage that had an outdoor shower. it was wonderful. you can rent bicycles, deep sea fish or just lay on the beach. they have a few swimming pools too. and the beach sand is white like sugar. it's beautiful!

We got married in Lake Tahoe and it was wonderful. Even invited about 12 people to join us. Two weeks later we had a reception at our home to celebrate with in-town folks.

We got married in a art gallery in Santa Fe, New Mexico. It is the prettiest place ever. The whole city is full of tradition, good food, and very friendly people. If you have any questions plz don't hesitate to email me.
