OK, I have to admit that I know NOTHING about this, but want to start blogging and need to figure out how to get a URL. Does anyone have any advice on WHERE to start? ...or any valuable information on the subject? Thanks!
Yup! I use blogspot for my blog. Google bought them out, so it's their blog site. You don't need to have a technical background. It's very easy to use. And you can get ads to make money. I think I make about 5 cents a day at my site--on a good day! LOL! Have fun!

For a blog, you have no need for a url... you can blog for free on dozens of sites. Take a look at www.blogspot.com for one (of very many) free blog sites you don't need to know anything else but a google email address (also free) --it's free, and there is no reason to buy your own url and many reasons not to (hard to monetize is a big one)
