Top Teeth

My 6 year old lost her 2 top teeth (naturally, they weren't pulled by a dentist or anything) 4 months ago now and the permanent ones are nowhere in sight! O_O My son's were in within weeks so now I am starting to worry at bit! I know she has teeth up there because I called the dentist and had them check her xrays. Has this happened to anyone else?

What can I do next?

It can take a LONG time, for the teeth to come in.
MONTHS.
It is not immediate.

Granted my son got his 2 front top teeth knocked out but he was toothless for 1.5 YEARS!

I talked to his dentist too, in a worried panic, he assured me that he did indeed have teeth and that they come in when they are ready and can take A LONG time to do so.

Don't worry.
So Normal!

Teeth come and go when they're ready.
My daughter and son couldn't possibly have been any different in the teeth department.
But, they both have good, healthy teeth.

Try not to worry.

My granddaughter lost her top two teeth months ago as well and her permanent ones are just starting to come in. Like you, I was a bit worried because it took so long, but low and behold, one day there they were!

It took 8 or 9 months for my youngest dd's top middle teeth to come in. It is even longer for the ones on either side of those to come in. She lost one on Thanksgiving last year and the other a few days later. One is just now poking through and the other is just now starting to come through.

mine did not come in for 9 months. And I did not have them cut by a dentist. My daughter's just broke through and they have been out a few months at least.
