Top Gynecologist Recommendation

I'm looking for a male gynecologist that has a good bed side manner. I am new to Florida and need some guidance. I live in Oldsmar but am willing to travel to Tampa or Clearwater. I'm not planning to have any more children so the OB information is not necessary in my case. More importantly is the staff friendly, how the facility presents itself, are exams thorough, does the doctor take his time with you.

What can I do next?

So What Happened?™

Thank you ladies. I decided to go to Dr. Jeffrey Marks. I truly enjoyed meeting him and his staff was very nice. The only drawback is that I waited almost 2 hours to see him. They explained that it was an unusually busy day. With that said, I will make my appointments at the beginning of the day (my appointment was at 11:00 a.m.) or the first appointment after lunch.

I really like Dr. Williams and Dr. Goldman, not sure the name of the practice, but everyone there is nice. Had two problem pregnancys and a breast cancer scare and they were great. I go to the office on Seven Springs Blvd in New Port Richey.

I have been to Dr. Williams and was not impressed with their office staff. I also have a few friends that have had bad experiences with Dr. Marks. I go to Dr. James Gallagher in Palm Harbor. I also live in Oldsmar and his office is right in the Boot ranch area. I have a medical background and my DH is a nurse practitioner and we were both thrilled with the way Dr. Gallagher ran his office. He has extended office hours and is very dedicated to patients.

I am a Labor & Delivery Nurse in Tampa and would personally recommend Dr. Richard Dillon. I work with OBGYN's all the time and this guy is definately a favorite. The majority of the staff in my Women's Center go to his practice (which says a lot...ask a nurse if you ever want a Dr. recommendation). His patients love him. He is a bit older and only about 5ft tall:)...but he knows his stuff! He is in a practice with 3 other Dr's (Wendy Whitcomb, Vicar Qureshi-female, and Brian McNulty). It may be a bit far from you, though. They have three offices. One in Carrollwood near corner of Dale Mabry and Ehrlich, one on BBDowns by UCH hospital, and one in Wesley Chapel. The phone # to the Carrollwood one is ###-###-####. Dr. Dillon delivered my son and came into the hospital to take care of me 5 days in a row on his days off because I had a complicated pregnancy/delivery (preeclampsia- C/S). I know you said you weren't having anymore children, but Dr. Dillon would be a great GYN, I am sure of it:). Good luck!

I would have to say Dr. James Gallagher in Palm Harbor. He is excellent. I am 32 years old and have been seeing him for the last 4 years. He delievered both of my children. His staff is excellent and he does have extended hours. Good luck.

I used Dr. Vendeland with New Horizons, they are located off Tampa Rd in the Mease Eastlake outpatient building. They have a great staff of nurses and Midwives, Kathy is awesome. Dr. Vendeland herself is over 40 and just had a baby girl.###-###-####

Best wishes!
