We were looking at one of those rugs that have the roads on them for kids to drive their cars. My daughter has a Winnie the Pooh one I got before she was born, and she has never played with it. My mom was looking at at car one for my son and I just dont' know if he will actually play with it or not, anyone have any ideas? He is going to be 1 in about 2 weeks. Also, which is better if you have an opinion....we found a Tonka one and a Cars one.
Thanks in advance!
M.

I'm a girl, but when I was younger, If I saw a car rugs, I went crazy for them! So did my little brother. We zoomed cars all over those things. maybe I should get one for my kids... I completely forgot about them! (the rug, not the kids!)

My son has one we got at IKEA. If nothing else, it's super cute. He turned out not to be much of a "play"er so he doesn't use it much, accept to sit on and build his k'nex, but it still looks really cute in his room :)

my son loved his from about age 18 months - 3. he is 5 now and hasn't played with it in quite awhile. i guess which one you get is up to you, they're about all the same really. if he is into the Cars movie then go with that one. my son never cared for those movies so he has the Tonka one.

we bought one from ikea... my 2 year old still doesn't really play with it, but we leave it on the floor to protect the carpet underneath!

It would be great for your son at his age! My guy is 3 and uses his still. I like them because at some point a child recognizes they set a boundary of sorts for them to play in ; ) Go with whichever you like, and take the WTP one out, too!
