This is what I'm making. :) It's delicious. There is coffee in it, but it just makes the chocolate flavor more "dark". My hubby hates coffee and loved this pie.

I also LOVE the pretzel jello salad that K's Mom recommended. It's light and delicious!!

This is an really easy pie and yummy too
Hershey Chocolote Pie
1 large chocolate bar
1 tub cool whip
1 premade pie crust
Melt the chocolate bar in microwave slowly so you don't over zap it.
Fold melted chocolate into 1/2 of the cool whip adding a little more just enough to fill crust. Then dump into crust. Top with remianing cool whip and if you want to fancy it up a little shave a few chocolate swirls from an extra bar.
ENJOY!

Here in Hawaii, "Chocolate Haupia Pie", is both famous and popular and YUMMY. And very special. People here, buy this pie or make it, for special celebrations or the Holidays, and to just eat it when craving it.
"Haupia" is Hawaiian for coconut.
It is pronounced as "how-pee-ah."

The consistency of the pie, is like a pudding or custard, and creamy. Because it utilizes, coconut milk. Which you buy in a can. Very good. The taste is not like strong candy coconut. It is subtle. You eat it cold.

If you make this, I can almost guarantee, people will like it... and they have probably never, had it. Because it is a local Hawaii invented, pie.

Here is a recipe:

I second allrecipes.com - you can do a search using a few key words and get bunches of recipes for what you are looking for. If you are thinking something different for Thanksgiving, how about a chocolate peanut butter pie?

Gotta have pumpkin pie and who doesn't love cheesecake, this recipe looks good! I made ginger snaps in place of the nilla wafers though.

I said "eff this!" and decided to make something completely different.

So I'm doing a traditional pumpkin pie, and a chocolate cake.

I use this recipe (it's amazing, and EASY!): http://allrecipes.com/recipe/too-much-chocolate-cake/deta...
