We want to send out post cards w/ our son's photo on it for Christmas this year. Can anyone suggest a good internet vendor that they have used? We want to address them ourselves. Thanks!

I've used Shutterfly.com the last 3 years and have been very happy. They'll send you the envelopes and you can hand address them. I always do as well.

I use Shutterfly. There are many internet photo comapnies that are all free to join. Be sure to read the small print in the agreement when you sign up though. On some of them, (snapfish, I think), the photos become the property of the website and they can use them if they want to. I'm a bit paranoid and don't like the idea of someone else being able to use photos of my child, vacation, etc. so I avoided those sites. Chances are it would never be a problem, but it's a good idea to read the small print anyhow. Good Luck!

We use snapfish.
They have a great selection and you can pick them up at a local target.
Have fun!

I have to say Walgreen's.com -we have used then for the last four years and you can pick them up at the Walgreen's on the corner so no shipping and handling. Good luck!

Please don't force your child to go to sleep by himself. When a child is screaming in fright vs. emotional crying, their blood pressure goes up, their heart rate....it's no fun. The fact is children, up until about age five (varies), have no awareness of their body, so drifting off to sleep makes them feel like they are falling and can feel scary. This is why children love to co-sleep, keeping one hand or foot always on mom or dad. They can define their body better by touching yours. Treasure your wee one and this special time. Right now you are his favorite people. The more attached you are to your child now, the more they develop into confident children. Do some reasearch on Attachment Parenting. I have an e-book (avail in my webstore) and aclass in S. Tampa called Natural Mom. Tons of useful information. Good luck!

I actually found a local mommy based business through a friend at my gym. I had beautiful birth announcements made for my daughter after she was born. The company is a cheaper than some of the bigger ones like Shutterfly and I think the quality is a lot nicer. I will have her do my daughter's first birthday invitations for sure. Her web address is www.Ktphotodesigns.webs.com ,I believe. If that is wrong email me and I can give you her number.

We have used shutterfly and photoworks. Ritz does a good job as well. I use them when I am behind and do the cards at last minute. They will print them the same day.

I have used Walgreens for the past 3 years with my kids. It's so easy, you just upload your photo online and then pick them up at your local store. They have a huge selection to choose from!

I have bought pictures through Shutterfly.com and was very happy with them. I don't know about their Christmas postcards, but I know they have them. I hope this helps.
