Strawberry Picking Season
Hello I was wondering if any of you moms out there can suggest a good strawberry picking place we could go to and tell me exactly when the time is that the season to pick them starts. I haven't gone since I was a little girl so I am clueless. Thanks

Hi C., I have picked at a place called Rowes Market many times. They are in Belleville off Rawsonville Road. Stwawberries are usually ripe in June. Belleville has a big strawberry festival every year. Maybe you can call their city hall and find out when it is.

The Belleville Strawberry Fest is always Father's Day week-end, fun for all ages. I too pick berrys at Rowes, every year, it is an annual event for my kids (14) and soon to be (7) and I. It would be worth the drive from Allen Park, if you don't find any place near you. Good Luck

I also go to Rowes in Bellville. They are ripe in early June.
