South Ft. Myers Fitness Recommendations?

Does anyone recommend a gym/fitness center/ classes that they use? I'm thinking about joining something. However, I need childcare so I can go during the day.

What can I do next?

You are in great luck. I offer a program called Baby Boot Camp which is a workout program using resistance bands where you are able to bring your child, rather than finding childcare for her. We offer classes at Lakes Park and Miromar Outlets and you can try your First Class Free by going to www.babybootcamp.com and click on Fl and then go to either Ft. Myers or Estero (depending which is closer) and then request a free class. We offer a great workout and an opportunity to meet some wonderful mothers in the area, that have similar interests. I look forward to seeing you.

Hi M.,
I am also a stay at home mom of two...a one year old boy and 5 year old girl. I have been going to Fort Myers Fitness in Gateway for about 6 months now and love it. Their childcare if included in membership. The people that work their are very nice and very family orientated. Specifically I do the classes that are an hour at a time...I haven't ventured into the "machine" area yet : )
Thier website is www.fortmyersfitness.com
I'm not sure where you live if this is a convenient drive for you but it's the only gym in the area that I know of with childcare.
They also do a free three day pass, you can bring your little girl and i think the child care is something like $3 a day. Once you have a membership the childcare is included.
Good Luck!

I am also looking for a gym with childcare. I know Omni offers childcare, but is quite pricy. I just looked at Fitness Advantage which is much cheaper. I was thinking of joining tomorrow. Our daughters are around the same age. If you are interested let me know. It would be nice to have a friend for me & my daughter around at the gym.

The Bonita Springs YMCA has a fantastic childwatch center! I have been taking my now 4 year old there for 3 years and he loves it. They are waiving the joining fee of $100 for the month of January too.
